Hi Guys
Today i got my Asus P5B Deluxe board. Installed E6600, BFG 7600 GPU and Corsair 2GB 6400C4 memory. It won't boot. I am getting the Blue LED on the motherboard and when i power it up it does turn to Red/Pink but nothing happens. My Monitor stays in the power save mode and i don't...
The Seasonic M12 is pretty expensive... but i do like the modular design. Let me ask this... my current PSU (400W) on has the 12pin connector. Do i need a PSU with a 4 pin connector as well for Asus P5E Deluxe motherboard? Cuz i would not mind keeping it if it works.
Thanks
That is some intense article. I think i need a PhD before i can fully understand this. So is my system is as i built it the calculation shows that it would need about 275W but if i overclock it would need 400W. So... time to upgrade to 600W? or 500W? Also the reason i choose Roswell because...
I currently have the Enermax 400W PSU. But if i upgrade i am considering this one:

What do you guys think?
Thanks
OK! good suggestion. It works better because i wanted a serial port and the deluxe version has it. So there is no limitation on overclocking voltage on memory in deluxe? I think i am gonna stick with my 400 PSU because i don't care for a big graphic card or SLi because i don't play games...
Hi Guys
My DFI Lanparty 250GB died. In order to wait for upgrading i bought an EP-8NA which gave me so much trouble that i decided to return it. Now i am donating my Athlon 64 3000+ to my brother and planning on building my first Intel system. I have been reading for a week and completely...
I have a Socket 754 AMD 3000+. I used the DFI Lanparty 250GB (NF3) motherboard and it was awesome. "WAS"... now 13 months later its dead. Well... it did not die completely but first the LAN stopped working then the PCI slots acting up. But... it was a sweet motherboard while it lasted. Now...
Hi Guys
Just got a EP-8NPA Last night and upgraded from my dying nforce3 mobo. I have a problem booting. If i power down the computer and then turn it on... everything works fine. But if i restart say from windows it hangs at the beginning. It shows the memory but does not bring up the drives...
After a lot of reading and looking around... i have decided to get the eVGA (eVGA 128-A8-N350-TX Geforce 6600GT 128MB 128-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Retail). I was thinking of the 6200 and i am sure it still would have been better than the 4200Ti I have now, but i kinda wanted the HD...
I am thiking of getting the 6200 considering i am going to throw the card away in less than 6 months. Any reason you guys like the eVGA6 6200 over other brands? Also on my current card I have a hard time watching HD trailer from Quicktime. Will this imporve that? Is that GPU dependent?
Thanks
WTF! Just checked the GPU Chart over at Toms Hardware... and 6600GT is actually almost 3 times faster than the 6200. This is the first time i have seen the price difference equal the performace difference.
On a seprate note... does anyone know which benchmark should i be looking at when i...
Wow the 6200 is only $36 while the 6600 is $95. Is 6600 3 times better? I am sure they both are better than my current Geforce4 4200. Thanks for replying guys. Any other suggestion?
Thanks
Hi Guys
I currently have a Athlon 64 3000+ chip on a nForce 250 Ultra motherboard with 1GB of Corsair XMS DDR333 RAM. I am using a Nvidia Gforce 4200 Ti 128Mb graphic card. I just ordered a a 24" Flat panel from dell (Dell 2407fpw) and it appears that my graphic card can not support it...
Hi Guys
I am planning to buy a Athlon 64 3400+ New Castle sometime today or tomorrow. Need a board to go with it. I am stuck between the Soltek SL-K8AN2E-GR and DFI Lanparty UT nF3 250Gb. Any suggestion? Anandtech did a head to head and even though they saw Soltek being faster they recommond...
