Good you to mention this board. I was just looking at the bit-tech.net review on the board and at least the older bios version (F3a something...) which they used had bit "dissappointing" memory performance. Do you know if this any better on the current bioses? The DS5 seems kinda good option...

I hope too, as the monitor itself is quite good. Though, i wouldnt not recommend it for anything else besides for things like CAD or such. For serious FPS gaming, it is a definite no. Image quality is awesome, high resolution images are just so crisp and detailed that it just blows you away. :)

Im looking the correct charts as im comparing them to the CRT, which im using as my primary display at the moment. The banding is quite bad(understatement), especially with DVI. The czeck review has gradient test and it does have slight indication of banding but its very obvious when you see it...

6-bit S-IPS? No way... Anyways, if i would get buy L2000C and find out (the hard way) that its 6-bit when it clearly says its 8-bit on their site, i would probably shove it up in LG's ***. Not to mention the website specifically mentions " S-IPS Technology" in the specs...

Im about 95% sure ill be ordering the HP LP2065, so ill see how that works out. First LCD and old display is 19" diamontron. Im probably in for a shock, one way or the other. :)
