Got the last one in my local store. The shelf tag said 149.99, but was dated 11/27. I had printed out the screen capture posted earlier in the thread with the 20 savings, so got the drive for 69.99. Great deal for me :) Now I just need to figure out how to get those DAP MST3k episodes...
Notice it says 9500, not 9500 pro. Quite a big diff between the two. $130 for a 9500 pro is a HOT deal, as they are very hard to find and better than the 9600 pros. A 9500 non pro though for $130, not so good.
This board is totally not hot. You are paying more for less. Get the Abit NF-7s or better yet, the Soltek FRN2-RL for over $20 less. Check the amdmb.com forums for results people have obtained with the three boards and rates of problems, asus is not even top 5.

Some of you seem to have missed the obvious lure here... you are not "getting paid $50" for your card, they just raised the price of the sale 50 bucks. You gain nothing but the pleasure of paying for shipping. Look at the prices... if you are paying over $299 for a 9700pro you are getting...
Hey my Cendyne/Lite-On is working great, did an MST3k episode burn in 2 mins (my old acer was like 5-6).
BUT, it makes this fast stacatto "tick-tick-tick" sound when the tray closes. Is that normal on a Lite-On? Otherwise it seems to work great.

This is my first time posting a deal so if I did something wrong phhhbbbbttt!
Anyhow, I just walked out of the local Office Max with a "Cendyne Lightning iv" CDRW for 19.99. Price is $79.99 -30 Instant Rebate -30 MIR. It's supposedly a 48x12x48, but it's also definately a Lite-On...
