Yes you can buy single tacos. You can even buy individual pieces of fried fish (the ones you get when you order fish'n chips). I've also purchased a single apple pie from Mcdonalds too!

As an avid gambler myself I'd recommend Blackjack and/or Paigow poker. Both these games are "skill" based so to speak meaning the player can affect his odds after the bet is placed (unlike games of luck like roulette or craps) and therefore more enjoyable imo since there is a bit of strategy...
