Sounds like the hard drive is toast. You could try the ole Fdisk, and reformat.

Hi, I have a possible power supply problem, and a m looking for suggestions. It is an Antec 300 Watt, in a SX830 case. My Asus probe started giving me low-voltage warnings on the +3.3 v leg. My question is, is this definatly a power supply problem, or could it be one of my components screwing...

Do you have the Adaptec CD Creator software installed? Nero will lock up if you try to run it with the Adaptec software on the same machine. (at least it does for me and a couple friends)...Just a thought........

I am about to build my first AMD Duron system, (Epox 8kta-2 Mobo) and was wondering what 4 in 1 drivers to use? Version #? Do I install them all, or only certain ones? I am an AMD/VIA virgin as all my previous builds have been Intel based. Any and all advice is a big help. Thanks Guys!

Built a system with a MSI 815Pro, no problems. Nice board for the money, fast and stable. Best low-buck option in my opinion.

Try "browsing" to the driver disk that came with the NIC. Sometimes Windows doesnt know what it wants or needs. I have seen this before, the files you need are more likely than not on the driver disk. Give it a try and get back to us.

That only works in Win98, not 95.

Title says it all, dont remeber how to get in there to stop stuff fron loading at start up.

As far as download speed I use (and recommend) a program called "Download Accelerator" it can be had from www.download.com . It can use multiple download strings at once, I use 7 at a time and get 200kbs/sec plus with my cable. It rocks, and as far as anyone (Steve Gibson included) can...
