Question Severe performance problems with Adobe Camera Raw

I have come to the tentative conclusion that my problem with Bridge is that it is not purging my cache automatically after I have finished working with a particular file. It just keeps adding more files to the cache. Is there a way to set Bridge to purge the cache automatically? I don't see...

Question Severe performance problems with Adobe Camera Raw

Hi Davey, My C: drive is an SSD. I have a great many drives--too many to list. The problem has arisen in the past 30 to 45 days. It may coincide with my go back and reprocessing some old photos, from 2008 etc. I'm going to do more investigation on that. Thanks for your input. Mike

Problem getting HDs recognized with GA-K8N Pro Sli

I have just installed a GA-K8N-Pro SLI MB. When I boot and go into BIOS setup, the drives are not recognized. So I try recognizing them manually, and there they are (including CD ROM). So I quit setup and save the settings. Boot again. Go back into setup. No hard drives or CD ROM! This may...

AMD 64 vs. Dual Core for business work

Thanks for this information. It was my inclination to go with a dual-core, and now I feel confirmed in that. Maybe my crash was a godsend in disguise, and the universe truly is unfolding as it should! Best regards, Mike
