Steve, Thanks, that did the trick. System wouldn't boot after changing the drive ltr in the registry (still looking for G, I suppose), but a quick repair reinstall resolved that issue. Most everything is back where it should be, all settings are preserved, and the boot drive is C again. Thanks...
