I am thinking about getting the 1090t to replace my q9400. I am thinking it would be prudent to maybe use my DDR2 ram. Can you suggest a motherboard that works out of the box with the 1090t and DDR2?

I have an asus maximus formula with 4gb and q9400 cpu on xp. Been thinking about possible upgrade and here is a thought. Upgrade to 8gb ram, go win7 64bit, get a ssd drive. I am thinking i might get more performance for the buck and skip the 1156/1366 since new socket be out end of 2011...

I just received my new monitor, a Hanns-G 281DPB. I hooked up with the DVI-HDMI cable but there are black bars all around the screen and it is not utilizing the full screen of the monitor. It is set to 1920x1200. I am stumped to how to get the full screen to be utilized? Help! Thanks!
