I just signed up to say that not all monitors labeled as 1600x1200 max resolution are limited to 1600x1200 max res. My 5 year old MAG CRT accepts up to 1920x1200 pixels (I just have to squish it vertically, resembling letterbox on fullscreen tvs). My monitors maximum resolution is 1200 vertical...
