This sounds like something along the lines of Motorola's Canopy system, you can do 10Mbit+ and all kinds of variations, the ISP or whatever can control accounts individually. Bandwidth is also both ways, no difference between download/upload speeds. It has a "non-supported" range of up to 35...
Egghead was the store, you are correct. When they went under they kept their online store going. I haven't bothered to see if newegg.com is like a restructed Egghead or not, very possible though. I do know that when you go to egghead.com you actually get the egghead store at Amazon...so I'm...
Since you didn't say which OS you're running I can only assume it's Windows 95 or maybe 98? Anyhow, check this URL and see if it helps you at all:

Something else you could try is toasting the HDD and reinstalling everything. That way you at least rule out software. I don't think I saw that suggestion on here yet. Otherwise definately get a refund on the Alienware or at least make them replace the computer. I wouldn't buy a Dell desktop...

First rule of thumb, don't toast an old hard drive you're upgrading until the new one is in place and working...
Since it's too late for that and if it's indeed bad from the fall...technically WD doesn't have to replace the drive as it's not a manufacturer defect but you can always lie.
I'd...
I should also note, I've never overclocked anything before and since I have no experience with O/Cing I always leave various BIOS settings such as FSB, PCI speeds alone. I'm guessing this is my problem but if somebody could steer me in the right direction for setting the BIOS up properly I'd...
Greetings all, everything works perfect but I'm having an issue I was wondering if somebody could shed some light on.
I have this motherboard:
FIC VC19E+
And I have this ram:
Corsair CMX512-2700C2 (PDF)
The board only lets me set it up like a DDR266 module and that's how it recognizes it...
