My Nvidia RAID1 stripe shows up correctly in the device manager, however in My Computer and Disk management I'm seeing one volume that can't be accessed. Everytime I try to open the volume it asks me if I want to format the disk.
How can I get Windows 7 64-bit to recognize my nforce4...
I'll check my emails. Yeah, I am RMAing through the manufacturer. They just want to know where I bought it. Are there any other popular sites besides Mwave that you can think of?
I'm trying to RMA some memory that I purchased like 3 years ago and I forgot where I purchased it. I checked my NewEgg.com history but it wasn't there. I remember that I purchased it somewhere else online but I forgot the name.
It wasn't tiger-direct, but I think it starts with an "M"...
Okay, I did a selective startup in Windows XP and it lasted through the night. I'm thinking that there's something about the Mozy service that is locking up my computer.
Update:
--I replaced the memory (now reads 400 MHz in the BIOS instead of 333 MHz) to 2 GB of memory instead of 1.
--I added a new hard drive. I'm now booting on a single 80 GB drive instead of a RAID partition. I converted the RAID 1 to RAID 0 and am using it for storage.
--Clean...
Oh, sorry about that. I'm no longer oc'ed. All the OC information in my sig is obsolete.
One more thing. My memory is rated to run at 400 MHz. Since the day I first booted it up, it had problems with dropping the memory to 333 MHz. When I went to the BIOS to reset the memory back to...
No post probably means a CPU or motherboard issue. Memory gets initialized after the POST process and you would get a couple of beeps if you had bad memory.
Before you get to the XP splash screen hit F8. It should give you a list of options. Select the option to "Not reboot computer on error" (something along those lines). If it's not a power issue but rather a blue screen event, your computer should stop at a blue screen with a STOP Error. If...
Most common reason for no beeps is forgetting to plug in the 4-pin motherboard connector for the CPU power. It's the 4-pin connector with the blue, black and yellow wires.
For a couple of weeks now, my computer has been freezing up either immediately after logging into Windows, minutes thereafter or even hours afterward. I checked the event logs and nothing. I ran Adaware, and Spybot and nothing. I ran chkdsk /r nothing. I even ran memtest for a couple of...
+3.3V = 3.16V
+5.0V = 4.75V
+12V = 11.64V
-12V = -11.62V
Chip Voltage
+1.2V = 1.15V
Battery Votage = 2.72V
Are these within normal values? Computer is now freezing up shortly after loading up.
