    i have an asus a7n8x-la mobo, and i was wondering if there was such a thing about mobo supporting only 16 bit audio solution...right now i have a sb live(16 bit), and im thinking on upgrading to audigy(24 bit). is my motherboard gonna go fine with an audigy?

    time has caught up on the athlon xps...your cpu will be a bottleneck to a 6800 or x800..and maybe even 6600gt....i think 9800pro might be fine.

    dual channel helps for both intel and amd...but dual channel 2gb is overkill...you need max about 1.5gb for everyday usage...
