I'm confused. Do I need to install the Sata drivers before XP?

Hmm, I just looked on the back of my first HD. It doesn't have a jumper on it? Bought it from newegg, 1 Western Digital Caviar SE WD800JD 80GB 7200 RPM Serial ATA150 Hard Drive - OEM Don't I need a jumper?

The Bios recognizes the two Sata Western Digital Hard Drives and the IDE NEC 5250 DVD Burner. When the system tries to boot from the hard drive, it says HDD Boot Failure, Insert System Disk and Press Enter. I put XP in the Disk Drive, LED lights up, spins up, and nothing, same message...

You guys are awesome. Thanks, it would be nice if there was some kind of mounting directions included in the case.

I'm putting together my PC right now, and I can't find a way to attach my DVD-R to my case? What am I doing wrong? There's a bag with little mettalic slides with screw holes that line up perfectly with the DVD-R holes, but....? When I screw them into the drive, it won't slide in the case.

Hmm, I'd say I need a moderately quiet case. The bulk of my music will come from the PC iself between software samplers and Virtual Instruments. I have Native Instruments Battery 2, FM7, Vokator, etc. etc. I'm not so much worried about the speed of processors, especially with the AMD's out...
