Specs: soyo 6ba+IV, pII 400, 128mb, tnt2u, sb live x-gamer, usr winmodem, w2k server. The prob: cd-rom is connected via spdif 2pin connector. in w98 no problems at all. in w2k when playing a cd i get pops/cracks/ugly noise. sounds almost like the speakers are being over powered. or like...

I've got a Soyo 6BA+IV. According to the Soyo site it can handle up to a PIII 100mhz FSB 600. My question is this, the 6ba+iv is a very overclocker friendly board...what will happen if i o/c a cpu over the 600? can i do this? anyone know? Mother
