I was trying to transfer 14GB from a USB 2.0 thumb drive to a USB 3.0 external platter based drive and kept getting BSOD about half way through. I also had a BSOD when just surfing with Firefox 5.
This is a new build about a week old. Searched google and found this post with similar issue...
The problem is now fixed so I wanted to post the steps I took in case it may help anyone else.
- removed the cmos battery
- removed the heatsink and CPU. Pin 1 was correct and seating appeared good.
