Hello AT forums. So in the past I've used the Joe Kane Digital Video Essentials to calibrate my TVs however. It doesn't seem to be working well with my new pc monitor. I was wondering which ways you guys calibrate your monitors besides getting a dedicated $100+ piece of hardware.

Aren't 2011 motherboards expensive as heck? And looking at some benchmarks on youtube. 1050ti + i3-6100 yield almost the same results as my old xeon 3ggz processor. Does cpu not matter much in games such as witcher 3, rise of the tomb raider, dark souls 3?

Thing is my board only supports ddr2 ram which is expensive af nowadays. I'll try to at least get 6gb. It supports max 4x2gb sticks. I'll look into the draw distance and texture detail levels. Or try to make the page size a little larger. Getting ram is my last resort I suppose.
