Looks like Iran gave Qatar advanced warning of the plan to allow time to evacuate and limit casualties and it was indeed a symbolic act. Hopefully someone can explain it to Trump so he takes the exit ramp and follows them, not escalate it further.

This might also be over reporting. The attack in Qatar makes sense. Lob missiles, do little damage and claim you met your targets and leave it at that. Shoot just as many missiles as bombs dropped. Hopefully that still plays out.
