I keep getting a 6 pattern beep every time i install a program and it reaches 90% same with Burning a cd It does no damage but I cant figure out what it is

I have an Abit SA6R i815E pent 3 733 FC 384mb ram 30 Gig ata/100 7200rpm Seagate Baracuda III CDRW CDROM Everytime I install a program or burn a cd or download from the web my mobo beeps 6 times Has anyone else had this problem with the SA6R? I havent update the BIOS yet. Please help...
