Put the card in my system and realized PCI E x16 is right above the only PCI slot (already installed a 7.1 sound card). Heat could easily trapped between. So much for the cooling solution, and forget about the aftermarket fan since it won't fit.
The board is the Tyan Thunder K8SE from AMD...
I used to use newshosting for a while, but their service goes down alot.
Now I use powerusenet http://www.powerusenet.com/
pretty much the same, so far the only problem I had is sometimes their authentication server might act weird and said I've reached my limit (4 allowed but I only use 2...
I got both bundles at the irvine show. I was expecting to see a bunch of distributors but instead I only found D&H. BTW, I'm the only guy carrying the cardboard box around so sorry if I bumped into you with the pointy edges. Lots of people and mostly students working at retail stores (bestbuy...
You could pre-order 2 PS3s for that price. And to think the 7 cores cell processors and RSX gpu which runs faster and better than 7800. I just can't find the logic to purchase a $600 video card just to play games.
Sorry, but I'm a bit confused. Since AMD quote "Due to the popularity of the offer, we have sold out and do not have any bundles at this time, nor do we know whether there will be any available in the near future,"
Does it mean my purchase on June 3rd is no longer valid? I mean they card...
I wonder if local manufacture could tag along. I could sell bunch of cases, 1U, 2U, server, tower, low profile, and even BTX from In Win. Hell, maybe I should make a bundle of business cards.
That's the advantage for working in the RMA department.
Thanks, I always wonder how much one cost since they always seems to excite Japanese ladies (at least in the videos) rather easily. I'm ordering 2, just in case.
Intel ordered about 900 BTX cases from us for shows and demostrations (they've tested on 915 and 945 MBs). So I think the future is bright. In fact ASI already ordered all our remaining stock (I can't even get one for myself).
I'm going to the Irvine locate (take half day off and drive from Walnut). I'm planning on getting both bundles since I got so many cases at In Win to test them out. But my question is, what kind of Opteron 246 AMD offered? Is it the newer power saving HE or the cheap "$300 on ebay for 2" version?
