    VCD's on a PS2?

I'm wondering if you can play VCD's on a Playstation 2? I made a nudy disc for a buddy of mine on a CDRW and it doesn't seem to work. I know you can play DVD's, so I thought vcd's would work as well. The disc is good, as it will play on my home DVD player. Any input guys?

    Which Motherboard should I get?

I don't think you can totally wrong with an Asus board. However, they do tend to be very pricy, for me anyway. Now, do you currently have an NIC, decent video card and so forth? Paying a few bucks for the A7N-266 might be worth it if you are building a new system, otherwise I'd go with the...

    Window viewing properties....

You all know how you can view the contents of a window in list form, icon form, details, etc.? Well, how can I apply this to a folder AND ALL it's subdirectories? Basically, without having to open every folder and set the properties, I want to be able to view the contents (MP3's) of all the...

Links 2001 MSN Gaming Zone trouble with Cable/DSL router

I don't know if this is an issue with my LinkSys Cable/DSL router or with 'Links 2001'. When I try to join a game on MSN gaming zone, upon entering Links 2001, I can see myself and the host. Nobody else. On the tee, all players are listed, but my screen keeps "waiting for remote...

Poll: Attn: KT7A-RAID owners - You thoughts on the new 3R BIOS.....

I've just downloaded the new 3R BIOS for my Abit KT7A-RAID. Just wondering if you all are getting the same reults. With the 3C BIOS, I could get my Athlon 1.33 to run at 1450MHz reliably (145x10). It would not POST at FSB speeds higher than 147MHz. I flashed with the 3R BIOS yesterday. I...

    KT7A-RAID Bios update

You do need the Award flash utility. The BIOS also has the latest Highpoint BIOS embedded, so you're also flashing the HPT.

Epox 8K7A vs Epox 8KHA Vs Asus A7M266 Vs Asus A7V266, hard to choose.

The ALi boards are the ones that suck big time. VIA's KT266 DDR boards all have a major USB issue when boards are clocked above 140MHz FSB. The AMD 760 boards are the less problematic, it's just that you'er limited to 2 DIMM slots. The KT266 would be my first choice if it didn't have the USB...

There is no difference between the A7V133 and the KT7A-RAID...right?

For the most part, you are correct. The Abit does have 1 more PCI slot also shared with an ISA slot, and is missing the useless CNR slot the Asus has. I purchased this board because I had an ISA modem at the time. I run my 1.3GHz Athlon 100% stable at 1.47 (10x147) which came unlocked as...

    Mpeg4 playable in VCD players???

I was just curious if anyone knows if you can make a VCD from an MPEG4 file??? I've been experimenting with FlaskMPG and some home videos. Overall I'm very pleased with with the quality and how much you can stuff on a single CD. I basically want to transfer a bunch of these home videos onto...

Need Rec for good T-Bird Motherbird

The new Asus A7V266 should be available by summers end. Reviews are very promising. Still not gonna use the new revision of the KT266 chipset though. The Epox 8K7A is all you seem to hear about in this forum. One of the most stable & best performers, features. Uses the AMD 760 chipset...
