Only the ladder servers are down at the moment. Ladder was causing the massive slowdowns in server browsing, loggin on etc.. Ladder will be back soon. Although I like Nations very much, TrackMania Original is still the king :)

LFS is developing very slowly because of only 3 man team. It's in S2 Alpha (Stage 2) version now. It is said that S3 will be the full featured version. But LFS still is simply a joy to play, especially the online games. I haven't played rFactor but I've read lots of positive comments about it...

Oh yeah. Re-Volt was so great. Addictive and challenging, especially the end levels. Some other oldies but goldies: Rollcage, New York Race, Ballistics, Rally Trophy, Stunt GP, Carmageddon. Also, another modern game called FlatOut is worth checking out. The sequel is coming in 2006.

Those who say "Far Cry sucks" don't know what they are talking about :) Far Cry is one of the best FPS games ever made. The replay value is also great. You actually want to play it through many times. I'm currently finishing my 3rd play-through.
