    Are people really confused about what I mean here?? The Banner? That text you see on the phone when it's not being used? Above the time and the date?? It might say something like New CID: 2 if you have new CIDs. Menu/handset setup/Banner is how you get to where you can edit it using the key...

    How do I get rid of the #1 (2, 3 etc) at the end of my banner? And while I'm here how do I deregister my Office #4 handset which is broken and I don't use anymore. Now I have an Office #5 handset
