hi, i just got my motherboard today, and i was able to get it started and everything. But it seems like i'm having a hard time setting up the raid with SATA hdd. I have currently 2 WD SATA raptor 36.6GB hard drives in SATA slot 3 and 4. I went into bios to enable SATA 1, 2, 3, 4 for RAID...

what kind of clicking sound is it? is it... metal to metal kind of clicking sound... or a click followed by drive spinning up? because if its the latter... i had the same problem... and its not the hard drive....

i'm going to get MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum... would either xp-120 or zalman fit? if both will, which one should i choose? I'm also getting corsair XMS series... i heard those are a bit higher than other rams... and it might cause problems... is this true?

lol i want to! but.... getting a dell with same amount of performance means that i would have to spend at least $1000 more... since it'll include a graphics card, and others that i don't need.... see this is the only reason why i'm going through all this.... heh

It was when i was using the other marvell network adapter, but since then i switched over to nvidia network adapter which doesn't seem to conflict with any other. Yet i'm still having the same problem... how did u go about fixing it?

i am willing to spend up to $300... but i would rather not if i can find a comparable one for a cheaper price if u know what i mean...
