Need help with my 6800 GT overclock

Just got my Leadtek 6800 GT AGP from newegg. When overclocking this baby, how do I determine stability? Looping 3dmark? Is there a utility specifically designed to check card stability at various core/mem speeds. For those of you who have OCed this card to Ultra speeds, have you noticed a...

    Upgrading from 9800 Pro....

    Upgrading from 9800 Pro....

Thanks for everyone's advice. It looks the 6800 GT is the winner. One last question. What is the difference between the $299 Leadtek, the $360 AOpen and the $370 MSI? Makes me wonder if the Leadtek only has 128MB of RAM. I definately want a 256MB card since I use high rez AA extensively.

My price range is $300-350 and I'm stuck with AGP for now. Pete: Thanks for the feedback but I'm a little confused. Firstly, what does AIW stand for?And secondly, is your final recommendation the 6800 GT or the 800XL? Sorry for being dense!

Hi Everyone, I want to upgrade from my current system (SFF Shuttle). All I need is a new case and mobo. I already have a case picked out, but need advice on a mobo. MY CPU is a P4 Northwood 2.66GHz Socket 478. Mobo should support AGP and SATA. I'd prefer an Intel chipset, but other...
