Noise is absolutely not an issue. My case is already loaded with fans--four 80mm fans for intake/outtake, two fans in the power supply, plus the heatsink/fan I already have. Noise doesn't bother me. So, with the Volcano 12, will I be able to push my Barton 2500+ to 3200+ speeds (400 Mhz FSB)?

As for the SP-97--the thing looks monstrous enough for the job, but I'm not really willing to pay $60 for a heatsink. Something around $20-30 would be ideal.

I'm using an Albatron KX18D Pro II mobo. It's been awhile since I've opened my case, but I don't think it has mounting holes. I'm too lazy/tired to check at the moment.
