I discovered I have a very old 5.25" hard drive that I'd totally forgotten about it. Dunno if anyone be interested, but I thought I'd throw it out here. Might be a collectors item? It's a 1 gigabyte DEC SCSI drive, 5.25".
Going through all my stuff, got a ton of old parts to get rid of, that is if anybody will take them. ;)

OK, well he didn't have the drive handy when I posted this, so he was going by memory, and it turns out it's not even a WD, but a Maxtor DiamondMax 80GB, model D540X-4K, Rev. A00. If anyone might have a spare circuit board for one, please let me know!
This is kind of a stab in the dark, but I figured I might as well try. A buddy of mine has a dead Western Digital 80BB drive that died but has some critical data on it. Looking for a drive with a working controller that he can transplant the circuit board to revive the dead one.
