    Inspiron 660 question

No, its hardwired, but I'm still happy to know what the unhooked wire was.

MSI R7950 Twin Frozr barely doesn't fit in case

Thanks all for the replies, I hacked the hard drive cage down and installed without issue. Currently enjoying 2540x1440 for the first time on my new Dell monitor, its fantastic! Although my bluetooth went out this morning as soon as I finished, go figure. Either way, I'm happy!

MSI R7950 Twin Frozr barely doesn't fit in case

What about something like this, little cheaper at only $59 bucks right now with the promo code Not sure if that would be enough cooling Can't run with the side cover off as my cats will probably be dumb enough to climb inside http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...1352023&cm_sp=

    Inspiron 660 question

I think it goes into a wire harness that plugs in right below the memory. I am at work but I'll get better pictures when I get home. Wish I could find some documentation on this.

MSI R7950 Twin Frozr barely doesn't fit in case

The two screws just hold the hard drive in... unless I am misunderstanding what you are saying. Currently I have an additional drive installed as well, but I can live without it. I'm not sure how to remove the actual caddy itself because it appears its riveted to the frame. Can I just break...

MSI R7950 Twin Frozr barely doesn't fit in case

Pictures above are stock photos, my upgraded power supply has the 6 pin connectors. I thought about pulling the HDD cage as well but is it riveted in, not exactly sure how to get it out. Is there an aftermarket bracket I can buy to install the hard drive below the two optical drives? Any...

MSI R7950 Twin Frozr barely doesn't fit in case

Tried to upgrade from a 560ti to the above listed card today on my Inspiron 660 but the very end of the cover of the card hits the hard drive bay making it impossible to install. It's my own fault for not measuring before purchasing but the price was excellent. Regardless, is it safe to...

    Inspiron 660 question

So today while trying to install a video card I noticed a small black wire was not attached. It is the wire that attaches to the front of the case that has the white tag on it in the picture below. Can anyone tell me what this wire is for? I'm hoping this is non critical like the LED...
