Clean installed XP and SP1 on my new p4p800c-deluxe. looked in device manager and it showed me as having TWO cpus [p4-2.6c] - dxdiag says the same..... WHY? Also alll my usb sockets work and show up as ok, but device manager also ? a usb hub...... Any ideas, guys? MikeR

Dumb question [probably :o], but is there a max graphics resolution in 2K server? I ask 'cos with my Asus GForce3 and ProView 17" LCD it will only give me a max of 800x600 @ 16 colors! Help Please............... Mike

Moral of story - leave well alone!!:frown: It was 1ghz; then I removed it to test another chip. After that 900 is the max multiplier oc I can do - I have even used conductive paint [the hard way - I can't seem to find the pens in the UK] and not the ole pencil bit! Anyone any ideas? Asus K7V...

Just to add another little twist my tweaking 'life' - I had to remove the Duron750 I had on my A7V to prove that it was the MSI pro2 board that was dead and not the chip. After about the 4th attempt at 'penciling' the Duron it started to OC, but with strange figures - set it at 750 gave 832, 850...

TBird 1ghz @ 1130 [8.5x133 taisol big cooler and arctic silver] idles at about 30-33c [according to the VIA utility that comes with the kt7a] does prime95 about 44c :cool: Thought I would try out rain...WELL... when at idle the temp goes up dramatically [40c odd] and when at full stretch it...
