Hmm, so there will be no difference in putting a AMD64 3400+ mobile in my shuttle instead of a normal AMD64 3400+? This way I would not loose performance and keep the temp. down as well..? They are even priced very close..and both on stock!

If you want to stick with the ata solution you will need a PCI ATA controller... if you want to go to sata you should buy a SATAII controller that support s NCQ like the SATAII150 TX4 from promise.. and stick to harddisks that support NCQ as well. this will give you a very big improvement s and...
Has anyone seen a review where they compare the AMD64 Mobile to desktop version like they do with the Dothan from that other company..? and since it fits into a 939 socket, does that mean it will work on all mobo's..

1) All stock build Graphic cards should fit ok, if they are using the reference layout!
2) Yes there is room for all types of burners and such.. but to clean it up a bit i would go for one of the new shorter models.

I wrote a e-mail to Shuttle asking them if there was a P version of the Shuttle on the way for AMD or if the P chassis was limited to the intel platform.
Thankfully they replied very fast saying there was a AMD P Chassis version planned for release either Q4.04 or Q1.05... :-)
