Plug 6-pin SATA/Peripherals into GPU's 2nd 6-pin?

Is it ok to plug the 6-pin SATA/Peripherals into my GPU's 2nd 6-pin? I have a 580 Devil GPU that requires 8pin and 6pin. :(
