I hate to be the bearer of bad news, and obviously not being there, you can't take my word for it... A motherboard I was screwing with 2 weeks ago, BIOS booted fine. Started Win98 setup from CD rom fine, boots off of 3.5 fine... but dies the second restart, tried 4 different Win98 disks, 2 95...

you could also do it ghetto style like I used to do, instead of buying a triple redundant PS & case. just get an old AT 250W and run your CD-ROMS off of it... Only two of them at a time would be going.. (while burning) and everything else should be fine... Have Fun and Good Luck

To be honest, that could be lots of things, did you try the drives on another board? Did you try a new PS? it could even be your IDE cables, or you walked across carpet and touched your machine.. What have you tried?, and maybe more suggestions could be passed on to you..

little crazy with the submit button? I have a copy or two of Win95 with USB support, They are out there... Is it onboard USB that's not being found? or is it a PNP PCI USB w/o drivers?

If He has one server and two VLANs, that's always a joy to set up (depending on the type of server NIC in his box..) OK to do if you're bored, not if someone is making you... I'm kinda curious why the Token ring setup???

you have on hell of a switch to start learning about VLAN's on,, there's two different types of VLANs, honestly, the User's Guide that Cisco has for the 3524XL (and 3524PWRXL) are pretty good at explaining everything, (hence the phrase "read the instructions") I've read it, pretty easy...

you have to share the drives to see them in Net. Neighborhood.. hopefully your ISP didn't start changing config's on you, just make sure (unless it's a Juno,and compuserve I think have different servers,) that it's PPP. most ISP's use DHCP (for dialup anyways) so choose server assigned IP, and...
