it fits the asus without any mods, but you have to trim the clip to fit the abit and the mounting bracket pushes the capacitors a bit, but you can always switch em around.

im thinking of getting one of these, im upgrading from a tnt2 diamond viper 770, will i see a difference? hahah, when is the next price drop going to happen?

how quiet is the zalman compared to a enermax or panaflow? i might try that method although it sounds a big dangerous! heh

yeah i found a white sticker by the pci's that said v2.0 so i guess i got the new one, i guess its orange seems like a brownish orange heh

just bought a new system barton 2500, abit nfs 7, 512mb crucial, and was thinking about a new video card, i don't need anything super duper, something that would run hl2 and doom3 decently i guess, been out of the vid card game no idea whats what anymore!

how do i find out which version my board is? wondering if i bought the 2.0 revision. can i do this without installing it? i still need to buy a hsf before i can start it up.

i just bought this cooler with a nfs 7 s don't think its rev 2.0 though and it DOES NOT fit, i didnt even see that compatibility chart, gotta send the huge thing back ;[ mine has the mounting holes but on the left side there are 4 or so capacitors that get well in the way.

thanks for the info i think i will order one of those, another question, is there a big difference between a 80x25mm fan and a 80x38mm fan? your really just gaining 13mm of fan space right? the enermax looks nice.

well my dumbass forgot to look at the zalman compatibility list and I bought the cnps7000a-alcu for my abit nf7 s and its definately not compatible hehe. wondering if anyone else has a zalman model that fits well or any other recommendations! thanks!
