Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think that if you bought PC100 and the mobo supported up to PC133 you would'nt have a problem. Coversely, if you bought PC133 and the mobo only supported PC100 the PC133 would run at PC100.

I had an interesting development yesterday. After I installed the Overclocker's BIOS and set the memory timings and Latency to be controlled by SPD (which wasn't an option with the BIOS as shipped), all of a sudden I developed the same High Pitched Squeal/Lock-Up problem in games and playing...

With the L7's connected the highest voltage (ie 1.85) became my default voltage. If I want lower I have to change it in BIOS but by default it runs at 1.85 for me with L7's connected.

Is this a fix for Win2K ATA100 support for intel chipsets alone or wil it work on VIA mobo's as well?

While I work the PC, I prefer to finger the power supply rather than be tethered to a static strap. Much easier and very safe.
