I tried it again with the Patriot 1600 memory; I get an overclocking error when I run the xmp presets with the patriot. I don't get it.

"Does not work on XMP" -- I have the same issue in my ASus p6T board, running this memory. Do you know why it won't work? Do you just manually set the rate to 1600? Michael

I have an a8n-sli deluxe and am using x2 now. Works good.

Yup - downloaded the new one.

It's hot in here. I put a new x2 in my system and I cannot get cool and quiet to function. It says it's on in the bios, and the driver is run, but the app says "2400". It's a a8n sli deluxe. Anyone have a thought? Thanks very much. Mike

Are your X2s shipping with a cooling fan, or are these OEM?

I apologize for the n00b question: but if I install a new OS on my A8n SLI deluxe with the SIIG rad controller (raid 0), I think I need that driver on a disk -- how do I do that? Any suggestions? thanks! Mike

For desktop apps you have to run native 1920x1200 or it is not good. I run farcry and half life at full 1920x1200, but you can run at less fine because the images in games don't need to be as crisp as desktop. The issue is monitor timing. On CRTs the default is GMT (general monitor timing)...

It's not true. I'm using a 1920x1200 Sony 23" LCD flat panel with SLI - no problems.

Is SLI disabled or just not a bios option anymore. There's really no reason for it to be in the bios since it's driver controlled; no? Michael
