ok, i returned the lcd with the dead pixel, guess what, the replacement has one too, except it's not red, also, the sound on the speakers were fine with the first lcd, but this one is skipping. I have no idea what happened.

I got my LCD monitor today, it is wonderful except for one thing. I have black background and on the right hand side, I see a red dot, which doesn't seem to go away, is that a dead pixel? Can I get it replaced? Will OfficeMax replace it? Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Well it can be purchased instore also, because I had a $40 gift check for instore use only, I just came back from the store and bought the SX1040BII: $110.50 - $40 gift check + tax = $77 shipped. My scheduled delivery is June 11, hope I get it sooner.
