Oh yes... though it's kind of random. Sometimes perfect, other times no good. Definitely something to do with the video card. I've noticed when the computer refuses to resume, the GPU fan does not spin up. Other times I've seen that all seems well, as in the computer resumes, but the GPU temp...

Yup, 0703 is out, right now. With a readme, which leads me to believe it's no beta. Here. Use at your own risk, though. At least one person in the ASUS forum has voiced his praise, claiming 0703 finally allows him to boot Vista 64 with 4 sticks of RAM running at 800MHz. YMMV... I'll...

Right, I need help! I tried flashing my board today. Crashed during erasing ROM. Reset my computer - no dice. Now, initially I was not too concerned, what with the wonder of CrashFree BIOS2 at my disposal... But, I've tried sticking the shipped cd in, a floppy with BIOS file... nothing...

A quick question here: Does anyone know of an HT Voltage mod for this board? I'm hoping, since this mobo is so popular, that someone figures out how to enable this setting in the bios. Apparently it's really, really important when it comes to overclocking...

NCQ is enabled by default. You can check the status by opening your device manager, IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers and double-clicking on NVIDIA nForce 430/410 SATA Controller, then looking in Primary/Secondary Channel. As for your voltage mods, those can be found here. Hope this helps

Well, my hard drives have finally arrived and I'm good to go! I've had a few stability issues running at 1696/800. Vcore seems the problem. I had trouble booting - would just hand at the detecting IDE devices stage. Anyhoo, I've now left the vcore set to auto and bumped the NB up to 1.5. As a...

Unfortunately I have no specifics yet. As I mentioned earlier, I'm doing all my testing off boot cds as my hard drives are still on their way :P Anyway, mprime ran overnight - no problems at all. Temps still around the 45° mark. Solid as a rock, it seems. Not a bad overclock considering I've...

Nah, I'm from Germany. Though I have been to Legoland in Denmark. Best... birthday present... ever! :P I'll stick with the voltage at 1.35 for now, and focus on stability. As for my NB cooler, the thing gets damn hot. Which means it's taking the heat from the chip itself, which is a good...

Sig updated. Temps? That's a little tricky... After running mprime, rebooting and immediately going into the bios to check the temp there, my CPU was around 57°C. That's rather high-ish, I reckon, though I expected as much with my cooler. Nonetheless, 60° is well within this thing's limits, so...

I've now finally put together all my components! Huzzah! I say all, but that is in fact a lie, as I have to wait a few days for my hard drives to arrive. Bloody hell. The suspense is killing me. I was hoping to spend the whole weekend going bananas with my new computer. Anyhoo, updating to...

Hey, thanks for the heads-up! I didn't realise that cache was set to change on the 6300/6400s. Looks like the E6400 is the route to go. Brilliant. Saved myself ?80! I don't take much convincing, it seems :P

Right, finally time for me to chime in! I've been reading through this thread since the start, gaining fantastic knowledge on the PC I'm currently building. Probably the most important thing I've read is the Corsair C4 issue. I decided to take the plunge and will be returning mine tomorrow...
