I am thinking about buying a 24" to accompany my current 20".
Will the 8600 be capable of running a 1920x1200 and a 1650x1050 resolution?
I will be using the monitors for web design, photoshop, no video editing, and no gaming.

I think you are right about the graphics card. I thought it being an 8xxx series it would be a step up over the 7600 GT, but its seems like I am wrong after reading a few comparisons.
