I am just going to go out on a limb and agree that it is a power supply. I had the same problem, I would watch videos or play a game and my system would reboot in a minute or two. I stuck a more efficient power supply in my box and all my problems went away.
Thank you both for such quick answers that also were very direct. Everywhere else I was reading that the 5200 am2 would be a bottleneck (which I knew) that would be such a huge bottleneck on a 4870 that games would hardly play at all, and I would be better off with a q6600+ and a 320mb gts...
I have been asking around forums looking for an answer for what I should upgrade, and when I should upgrade. I use my computer for multi media, gaming and multitasking. I have a 19" lcd monitor with a max res of 1280*1024, however I might be getting a good deal 24" widescreen monitor from...
I am going to be needing to rely on my pc for almost all of my multimedia pretty soon (stereo, tv etc.) and am kind of lost as to which components to buy. I have an am2 5200+ Windsor and an asus m2n-sli deluxe nforce 570 motherboard.
The on board sound isn't the greatest and I know nothing...
Here is a diagram for what I have now: http://img.photobucket.com/alb...heeseplug/Diagram2.jpg
I can see the desktops on each other, can print off of one another and can transfer documents. My only problem is I cannot get a lan game working.
Edit 2: I probably should make it known that...
Rebate Monger:

I seem to be running into another problem, I have internet connections for all computers, and shared printers and files, but cannot get a lan game to work. I have dmz'd the primary desktop and tried forwarding ports (I am trying to get american conquest fight back and divided nation working) but...
Well, I have the wired router to the two desktops and a network bridge from the main desktop to the wireless router. It works, and I only have to configure the desktops for lan in games such as Cossacks and Empire earth.
Thank you for the suggestion of the access point
I have two desktops and a laptop on the same connection here at my home. My wireless router is a Linksys WRT55ag, which I bought because I trusted the linksys brand... not so much anymore. I use a lot of streaming video and bit torrents (legal ones) and the router will not handle it, shutting...
I am sort of a noobie when it comes to home theater and audio visual, but I have a pretty cheap panasonic home theater dvd playing stereo thing. Model No. SC-HT730/SC-HT733/SC-HT930/SCHT933. I have it hooked up to my television, but the wires going to the back of the room are really grinding on...
I am gathering from the replies that it would be safe to use on a heat spreader... I am lazy and would prefer to just use what I have here, I'll only use a few drops. I'm not one to waste my vodka!
