Went to Sam's Today, they had a big group of big screen TVs next to the TV section on clearance. Most were great deals, the gem of the group was the 1900 50'' Vizio HDTV marked down to $1000. It was a floor model, but worked fine. Got the extended warranty for $70. Like I said, BIG YMMV...

All I can say is....WOW. What a beautiful monitor.
