What does everyone think? intel gonna do it right with the die shrink? I personnaly think they went about the release all wrong, they shoulda waited to release the P4 with the .13 and with DDR capability... my 2 cents.

jutthin...... I have never liked using a Radeaon card with an AMD system... maybe if you tried swapping the cards to test to see if maybe that is yer problem... just a suggestion.

Well it was into work the other day Revision 3. Had it striped down to just the Video card... PowerColor Geforce 2 MX 128MB Pc-133 and Athlon 1GHZ C core. The jumpers were jumpered to take the 133(DDR) FSB and the extra USB port was attached. Came up in the device manager as disabled yet it was...

Well the athlon 1.4 that I worked on was weird. HAd an orb dual fan HS and the case was open, running at 57C idle in BIOS, pretty rough. Put a big Cooler Master on thgere and it went down to 53C Put the case on it and it went down to 50C. So it seems it really needs air circulation. As for...

OK now here's my next question. If I do go out and buy the ol 1.4, and it will be OEM so i'll need a kicking fan, what mainboard do I use. I plan on going with DDR RAM. I heard that the A7A is good, but I don't know if I trust the Ali chipset. Any recomendations?
