You have a point. I got lucky and got mine for $17 canadian at Staples. Kinda hard to find a deal like that now.

what about the mx310? it's a great mouse with good accuracy. I play CS at the CAL level and its great. It's also cheap enough for the casual gamer. Get the mx310 and spend the cash you saved on something else.

wow, I have a new logitech mx310 and never noticed any noise, just put it to my ear and there is the high pitched noise...cool! It's really quiet though. I still love the mouse btw.
