Picked up a ten pack of TDK DDS3 (125m) DAT tapes at Frys Sunnyvale yesterday for $99 + tax. There is a $20 MIR valid for up to 30 days after purchase, limit 2 rebates per household. $8 per tape (+tax) seems pretty good. Mark B

Tried another CSR - she says it has to go through her supervisor and then to 'Corporate' for them to authorise. They won't respond until tomorrow. They may call me or I can call back. I'm not holding my breath on this one.

I think we can forget about this deal. I tried to get Staples to match extremeshopper.com ($569 + $16.85 shipping) and expresscameras. Both times he came back and said that because their warranty is 'international' that the product is not identical so they won't match. Mark B :-(
