no matter what firewall u get, just make sure it is configure properly and always monitor the log file for any intruder attempt. Some company got the best/expensive security but still acttack by hacker simply because of poor setup or management.

do you try to use ipconfig /all to view your win2k's ip configuration? (before & after u disable the dhcp) also try o use tracert.exe to help troubleshoot

I been using my sb live! for few years. Hope to get a audigy 2 soon but I'm worry about issue with smp. intel's HT is a interesting feature..hope creative can fix this problem
