Win vista recognizing my creative live 5.1 as 2channel audio device. I have installed driver by using setup & manual (Have disk wizard) md's - 2k_xp driver. Useless....... creative people says they have stopped there service for my sound card. But still they are selling this product. any ideas...

So you have one option left. Go to ASUS site. Get ur latest BIOS update. Flash it; do what ever 'Dahak' said again. Maybe it should work.

i 'm agree with Arkaign. Wait man, this is not the time for upgading. Both AMD n Intel going 2 release monsters. If u got hurry;u will have to worry. My best recommedation is Arkaign's Recommendation #1.

Sure u r right!! But the thing is; Basically processor is a PnP device. U dont need driver. In addition if u need addition 2 execution task frm pro., u have 2 install that spacific tech.'s driver. That is common procedure.

No Need. To get boost on performance ** U better update ur BIOS with latest version. ** Also u better download latest driver frm ADM site N install it.

First of all u better consider about ur req. If u need upgrde only go for am2 or c2d. Otherwise wait untill both amd & intel introduces new platform. corz u r in new family.No need to worry about current situation. If u wanna be upgrated always; u would be a computer reseller. Ram also available...
