I have my Duron 750 running at 966 (7*138) on MSI Turbo (vcore 1.85). I can get 933 (7*133) at 1.77 volts. It wouldn't boot into Windows at 1000 (7.5*133).
Definitely connect L7's for a default vcore of 1.85; you can always lower the voltage in the bios but you'll probably need a vcore of...
Thanks for all the help :) .
I got a FOP32-1 clip, re-applied my AS (enough to cover the core, no AS over the edge of the core) and got a big temp drop. I think most of the temp drop was due to greater pressure from the Fop clip.
I can only use 4-way inter. if it's set to SPD in the MSI bios. Definitely better performance this way. I take it you have the KT7a? What CPU are you using?
BTW, what's Project|G|??? I guess there is really no need to OC the video card if CS is smooth.
Has anyone tried the overclocker bios to get the lower multipliers? I'm using the overclockers bios, have the lower multipliers, and the multipliers are correct (7*133 = 933 and 7.5*133 = 1000) but I have a Duron 750. I wonder if it's a T-bird problem?
Thanks for the advice. I'll look into a fan. I'll try those video card setting after work. I've tried CS at default video card settings too. It runs fine. I tried 205/195 with Q3 Arena lasy night and I didn't see any artifacts. Maybe it only occurs in CS? Actually, I only see white specks...
1) Which is the correct voltage: PC Health or Selected voltage?
2) How do you remove the heatsink on the northbridge?
3) Does the blue orb fit on the northbridge (with or without modification)?
Thanks :) .
Thanks Gtd 2000.
Is it OK to assume that the video card is stable if it can run 3D mark benchmark or demo with out crashing, running the program only once, no looping)? I'm going to try Quake3 demo tonight to check for stability and artifacts.
I would like to try to get my memory to 200 and...
Hi everyone,
I recently overclocked my GF2 MX to 205/195. I tested it with the 3D Mark demo, didn't see any video artifacts, and thought everything was OK.
I played Counter-Strike and video artifacts started appearing. I thought maybe I was pushing my card too much. I went back to default...
Hi all,
I need advice overclocking a Geforce2 MX. I am using the 6.50 drivers and the coolbits hack. I'm using the 3d Mark demo to test for instabilities.
First, I overclocked my memory to as fast as possible. I got it to 195 (core default). At 196, I start to video is not as smooth...
