I still think the GeForce FX is gonna rock!! Some Nvidia partners are going to use quieter fans, so noise won't be as much of an issue. Since the video card market changes so rapidly, there's never a great time to buy. The 9900 Pro sure looks attractive, but it's likely to cost as much as the FX.

ATI definitely has a winner with the 9700 PRO while Nvidia's response is the long-delayed GeForce FX with its highly unusual cooling solution. I guess the only sure way would be to try it out. But I don't want to spend the money and have it not work properly.
