After reading your post I tested it on my AMD Athlon 1200 with 768MB of DDR memory. A single SETI workunit processes in about 5h10 to 5h30 CPU time (ignore exceptions) on my machine and reports as 99% efficient (with very little else running). Running two processes at the same time results in...
