    Quick update from here, but I was able to order one in the evening on Wednesday, and at the time I was placing my order the description had the "w/ 1MB Cache" and shortly after placing my order when I went to check out my order status the description had changed to the non-Prescott description...

    No problem... I'm just doing my part to bring high quality cables to the people at a price they can live with. =p Retail cable prices are one of my biggest pet peeves... especially Monster. Wheeeee.

    How do I check to see which ports are open on my machine?

    Here's a link to a good, free port scanner - Nessus. NeWT is the Windows version of the program and is available at the same location.

    Check out Pacific Cable. They have pretty decent quality cables for much cheaper than most stores... I use them for my HDTV =)

    Grrrr... Guess I missed this one. I could really use this pc to use as a new HTPC, but I didn't get the email. Hopefully they run this again... =( That makes me a sad panda. -Special Opps
