I'm running openvpn via the xt8.. i find that on remote connections, you can only connect to machines via ip addresses.. you have to use a local host file to do this by name. Im running things at udp/tun mode. Is there some sort of workaround, i've tried everything and cant find a way. Thanks...

Update, so with my xt8 asus, a few things i did.. It was suggested elsewhere to revert to a firmware from feb 2021 or previous (3.0.0.4.386.42095 or before). The 2021 feb one (42095) didnt seem to make a difference so i went with 3.0.0.4.386_41793 I dont think this was the fix. I then went...

Sounds as if we should be fine with any POE offering from these choices then, maybe with some tweaks on the hardware configuration interface. When i spoke to hp they said that they offer the lifetime warranty ability on any refurb no matter where its bought from.. thats why i havent blinked too...
