I live in California and I order from Newegg as well. You don't save much if any by going out-of-state, and since you know Newegg has the best prices, why not just pay the sales taxes since it benefits our state after all?

It depends on the size of the CRT monitor and how long do you use it per day. Realistically, you only save a couple of dollars a month, unless this is for a business where the monitor stays on for at least 10 hours a day.
